Achieving My Goals with Color

My Goal Setting With Motivational Colors

Goal setting and color therapy have both been around for years. My resolution this year is to combine color therapy with my goal setting to see if I can achieve my goals easier.

Since setting goals needs a motivational push for me, jazzing it up with color will be therapeutic in itself. My world revolves around color. Our moods are in color. I see black when I am feeling empty. Red when I am agitated. This is the negative side of black and red, but they have positive virtues too.

Color therapy is also known as Chromotherapy. Positive colors bring energy. Though not a proven science, it is used throughout the world. Hospital interiors tend to be white, for cleanliness, kindness and purity. Rooms can be in shades of pastel blue. This gives out a calming effect.

My resolution is to paint my world with positive affirmation in colors to achieve my goals.

Affirming Positive Reinforcement and Colors

Successful Fulfillment of My Goals

Initially I decided not set any goal.. I had set goals in my Healthy Living Diary article and stuck with it. But I have since broken away and need to start over. I have written many health articles, which I firmly believe in.

Starting with short term goals then building on them to become long term goals is the key. Keep forging ahead dispite any setbacks.

Begin with the healing process that colors give, then work on the positive affirmations.

Heal with Colors

The theory of color therapy dates back to a physician and scholar, Avicenna (c. 980 - 1037), who viewed colors to be an effective treatment. Avicenna discussed color therapy (also known as chromotherapy) in his book "The Canon of Medicine.

Getting Fit with Positive Affirmations.

It is not as easy as it sounds. First you need to change you way of thinking. Release you negative energies. Gain positive thoughts. A positive mind releases positive energy. Set some time out for yourself and write down your affirmations on paper.

Start Off with Fresh Green, Orange and Red Foods

Weight Loss Tips of Charlie's Angels

How Did Ryan Reynolds Got Totally Fit

Before Ryan Reynolds stared in 'X-Men Origins Wolverine' and 'Blade Trinity', he was a lean and somewhat scrawny actor in 'Van Wilder' and in 'Two guys, a girl, and a pizza place'. What happened from there? How did he get so ripped?

Atkins a Way of Life

A few years ago I went on the Atkins Plan. I was determined to lose pounds. Within a month I lost 20 pounds. I stayed on this plan for a few more months. It was a great feeling of being thin. People were treating me different and I felt better with myself.

I have been on many roller coasters. The Atkins way worked the best for me. Contrary to belief, vegetarians can adjust the Atkins way of living to their own food choices. I plan on going back to this, but adding more green to my food.

Cutting down my meals to several small ones as in the grazing plan of Cameron Diaz. To me this makes sense. It allows our bodies to digest food properly. If I have a large meal, I often feel bogged down, lack of energy and tired.

Low carbs is the way to go

Goal #2 Be More Fit

Color Code: Green for Health and Self-Control

It is time to take control over my physical, emotional and spiritual well being, to become a better and healthier me.
